If you cannot come to CERN, it is still possible to learn about CERN, its facilities and its research from the comfort of your own home.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of the resources available online. You can also find many more resources for teachers and students on our educational resources but also on home.cern.
CERN is closed to visitors on 6 and 7 January due to electrical tests and on 8 January like every Monday. We look forward to welcoming you as from Tuesday 9 January.
Thomas Deshusses (alphabrick.ch) used LEGO bricks to build the model of CERN Science Gateway, which is on display in the reception area, as part of his Maturité project (personal project for the end of his Swiss secondary education).
With 30,000 pieces, a year of design and over 250 hours of assembly, it is a work of art in its own right.
Although the CERN campus is closed for two weeks as usual, CERN Science Gateway will be open during the end-of-year break!
