cern70 exhibition

The wide range of festivities highlights CERN's diverse achievements while also looking forward to its promising future, with a unique accelerator complex set to drive 70 more years of research into what the Universe is made of and how it works. “The international events are a testament to CERN's impact on scientific knowledge, technological development and worldwide collaboration”, affirms Luciano Musa, coordinator of the CERN 70th anniversary. CERN aspires to engage and inspire even more scientists, policy makers and general public across the globe this year.

The year-long celebrations will culminate with the official ceremony on 1 October, which will welcome the highest-level representatives of CERN’s Member and Associate Member States, Observers, non-Member States and key stakeholders for the Lab.

They will join the many thousands who are this year honouring CERN’s past and shaping a future filled with new knowledge and innovations.
