Before 8.30 and after 17.30, upon arrival or during the event, you can offer your guests private access to CERN's Universe of Particles exhibition.

Up to 80 people at a time can immerse themselves in the realm of particle physics, in order to better understand the Laboratory they are visiting.
A six-minute immersive film (the audience is surrounded by five screens) can be shown in English and French to make this experience unforgettable.
Various exhibits show the tools developed and used at CERN, including the very first World Wide Web server! Interactive screens will answer questions in English, French, German and Italian.
Depending on the duration of the visit, guides can be provided in up to 30 languages.

CERN Guided Tours

This service can be booked free of charge, depending on availability

CERN guided tours

We can offer your guests a tour of one of approximately 15 different points, chosen according to availability, in up to 30 languages.
From workshops to accelerators and control rooms, go behind the scenes of the world’s largest scientific laboratory!
Most guided tours take place above ground only, as underground areas are not accessible most of the time.

Special access rules

Please note that guided tours take visitors within the fenced part of the CERN site. The CERN site access rules require your guests to be fully registered and to keep their personal visitor card visible for the duration of  the tour. For this reason, we will need to receive the following information for each visitor, at least 48 hours prior to the guided tour: last name, first name, date, place and country of birth, and nationality.
Some visit points have further restrictions for pregnant women and people with reduced mobility,  medical implants or pacemakers. We will therefore need to know if any of the members of your party are subject to these restrictions.

CERN & Society Premium Package

This service can be booked subject to an additional donation

In order to thank users of the Globe wishing to make an additional donation to the CERN & Society Foundation on top of the minimum donation of 10 000 CHF, we are pleased to offer additional premium event features to improve their experience, such as:
