21 June 2018: traffic disruptions

On Thursday 21st June, Pope Francis come to Geneva in the frame of 70th anniversary of the World Council of Churches (WCC).
This visit, which includes a Mass with thousands of participants at Palexpo, will generate important traffic disruptions, especially in the following sector: Airport, Grand-Saconnex, Petit-Saconnex and Pregny-Chambesy.
Some roads will be closed to traffic for all or part of the day.

In addition, on public transport line 18, you will have to step out of tram 18 at the Blandonnet stop and take bus 18 to get to CERN stop.

Plan enough time to get to CERN in time, especially if you have booked a guided tour.
